The following is a translated Linkedin post:
The result of a year of research and writing is 300 pages of ink on paper. On a personal level, the result is an increased understanding of our relationship with the world and each other, and a strengthened desire to work on developing these relationships towards greater harmony. One of the motivations for the project has been to investigate which elements of our view of reality underpin the multitude of challenges we face as a society, challenges that I consider symptoms of something fundamentally wrong in our view, and how an alternative view of reality that breaks with these potentially collapse-triggering elements might look.
Theory is one thing, practice is another, and the direction my work will take in the next phase will undoubtedly need practice. Therefore, I want to reach out to my network here on LinkedIn to explore new opportunities. Do you know of initiatives or people who are working towards or wish to work towards sustainable societal forms and mitigating the consequences of our current societal form? Initiatives or people who recognize that the crises concerning climate and ecology, education, energy, geopolitics, agriculture, supply chains, our financial system, mental health, culture, social technology, etc., must be seen as consequences of something deeper, and that a paradigm shift in our relationship with the world is necessary for us to address this? Initiatives or people who think or operate in radical or progressive ways? If so, I hope to hear from you or that you will share this post. I primarily wish to get in touch with those of you out there who are already engaged in these challenges to understand what opportunities exist, regardless of whether you share my views.
I wish to share the same message to the ones reading this, so please contact me (reply to the newsletter or substack DM) or share either this post or the original Linkedin post to people you think might be relevant.
As you can see from the photo above, The Magical Flower of Winter now exists in print form. This is a (very) limited and self-financed printing of everything published on this substack so far, and I would like to give away 2-3 copies. Reply to this newsletter or send me a message if you would like one, first come, first served.
Thank you to everyone for the support so far, and I wish you a great summer!
